The Long View

Alberta is home to some magnificent natural scenery, none more so than the ranchlands around Longview. It is hard to comprehend the distances you can see in the clear summer air. In this scene there is only a piece of the immediate foreground in the scene, including the fence posts, the next nearest ground is likely a kilometer away, over the hill and down into the valley. Look at the specs of white in the middle of the scene, these are birds flying in front of the distant trees.
