An Open Bow River at the base of Temple Mountain

It is the middle of winter in Lake Louise, AB. The days are abbreviated and dark. Snow covers everything, if you step off the beaten path you will sink up to your waist. It is grey, as more snow is on the way. Yet as your eyes adjust to the subtlety of the scene, you see the rich greens and greys in the trees and simmering colours in the snow.
